To design and manufacture air cleaning equipment & systems that are functional, economical, easy to maintain and to continually improve the design to ensure superior value for our DeVansco customers.
In 1972, DeVansco, Inc. was formed by Dewey M. Evans and William L. Johnson of Michigan, who were taking advantage of the US patents filed in regards to air cleaning devices in April of that same year. By 1974, the patents were accepted and production began. Ward Automation Inc. began the manufacturing of these air cleaning units in March, 1978 out of Buffalo, NY under the license to DeVansco, Inc. By August 1980, Ward Automation had acquired the rights to the patents and the name, and the product line came under the control of Ward. In 1995, Ward Automation Inc. transferred the rights of DeVansco, Inc. to Ward Industrial Equipment Ltd. where it has been developed into the state-of-the-art machinery that it is today. A total of 117 DeVansco units (as of September 2005) have been purchased from Ward since acquiring the rights to manufacture. Ward Industrial has two locations; in Buffalo NY, and in Welland, ON. With a factory in both Canada and the United States, Ward is better equipped to serve you, no matter where your company is located.
